Job summary

AVTECH Global is seeking an Aircraft Flammability Tech (sheetmetal) in Savannah, GA to support experimental, structural, and flammability testing. The role involves assembling test fixtures, repairing articles, and assisting test executions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2+ years of basic sheetmetal experience. DOT/FAA program participation and valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2+ years of basic sheetmetal experience preferred.
• Experience in assembling and inspecting test articles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain complex test lab fixtures and equipment.
• Assist with test executions and data collection.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Learn internal lab SOPs and Lean initiatives.
• Communicate progress to supervisor and coordinate with test engineering.
