Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Flammability Technician I- Finish Team to perform flammability testing and related fabrication duties for aircraft interior finish components. You will help ensure compliance with flammability standards and maintain thorough records of test samples and related documentation.
The role requires a high school diploma, with aircraft experience and knowledge of FARs preferred.
Flammability Technician I- Finish Teamin GAC Savannah
Preferred experience with buffing, sanding and spraying furniture is a plus.
Preferred respirator experience/certification.
Preferred understanding of GAC internal finish specs and processes. (CPS*042, CPS*028, etc)
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working on aircraft preferred. Knowledge of FARs and ODA/FAA Conformity requirements desired.
Position Purpose: Acquire accurate information pertinent for fabrication and Inspection of flammability test samples required. to show proof of flammability for materials used in the aircraft during the completion interior installation.
