Aerotek in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Aviation Interiors Technician for a contract role focused on assembling, installing, and final fitting of aircraft seating components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role requires reading blueprints and OEM manuals, using hand tools for subassemblies, and working under leads to meet production schedules. Second shift with potential extension and possible direct hire options exist.

Qualifications

12.5 years of aircraft seating assembly/installation experience or equivalent A&P schooling.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and aviation OEM manuals.
Proficient with hand tools for mechanical assembly, subassemblies, and installation.
Ability to remove and replace aircraft seat parts and complete final fits.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install aircraft seating and related components per engineering prints and OEM manuals.
Perform mechanical subassemblies using hand tools and ensure proper fitting and security.
Remove and replace seat components to complete final fits and adjustments.
Interpret blueprints/diagrams/OEM manuals to guide work accurately.
Work under supervision of leads to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Follow established aircraft manufacturing processes and procedures.
Inventory and manage client tooling and equipment used during assembly.
Maintain high attention to detail for safe seating installations.
Overtime and weekend shifts as required by production schedule.
Adhere to site safety rules and badge requirements.
