Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL, is seeking an Aircraft Interior Technician to build, modify, install and inspect interior aircraft components from sketches or 3D models. Requires at least one year of basic carpentry and ability to use drills and hand tools.

You will work weekend shifts, maintain safety standards, and document work in Corridor. Compensation ranges from $28 to $38 per hour, with overtime eligibility and potential shift differential or relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of basic carpentry.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in business jet maintenance environment.
• Must be able to work from sketches or 3D model.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow installation procedures.
• Must be able to use drills, belt, disc, drum sanders and other common hand tools.
• Must have physical and muscular dexterity to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, cushions, seats, tables, and related components.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to work in a standing condition, lean on floor, stand up and down repeatedly, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install interior products.
• Install main cabin cabinetry and headliners.
• Install final assemblies (sinks, water, air and oxygen systems, drawers).
• Perform functional checks on installed systems.
• Adjust and perform functional tests on mechanical assemblies.
• Install carpet and cushions; fit seats.
• Document work performed into Corridor.
• Work according to safety and quality guidelines.
