Job summary
Elevate Aircraft Seating LLC seeks a Field Service Technician in Charleston, SC to provide on-site technical support during aircraft production, assist seat installation teams, and troubleshoot damaged parts and cosmetic discrepancies.
You will coordinate with QA, Engineers, and Product Support Managers, follow safety guidelines, and may stand in for the Lead Field Service Technician while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of aircraft service experience preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial aircraft seating products preferred.
- Basic knowledge of drawings and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support during aircraft build and resolve installation issues.
- Perform rework across receiving, BFE, factory, and flight line per drawings.
- Replace faulty components and assist seat installation teams.
- Coordinate daily with QA, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
