Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) involved in aviation services. We are seeking Ramp Service Agents (RSA) to marshal aircraft, load and unload cargo, perform de-icing, and service aircraft lavatories and water.

The role requires the ability to work in inclement weather and pass a background check. RSAs operate ground support equipment, maintain safety standards, and follow procedures under supervision of Ramp Managers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft on the ramp, including directing, assisting, and parking arriving, departing, and towed aircraft.
• Service aircraft as needed, including cabin cleaning and other required services.
• Perform aircraft de-icing/anti-icing.
• Shuttle crew members.
• Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo.
• Operate all ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the safety and security of aircraft.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
