Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is seeking Ramp Service Agents in Anchorage, AK. RSA's marshal aircraft on the ramp, service lavatories and water, load/unload baggage, and perform de-icing and other duties under supervision.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 60 lb, read/write/speak English, pass background and drug tests, and work nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions. Prior ramp or forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work in inclement weather.
• High School graduate or GED.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably.
• Able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, team player.
• Required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft on the ramp and direct parking.
• Service aircraft lavatories and water; cabin cleaning.
• Load and unload baggage and cargo.
• Perform safe operations of all ground service equipment.
• Maintain safety and security of aircraft.
• De-ice/anti-ice aircraft as needed.
• Crew shuttle and other duties as assigned.
• Follow supervision and procedures; escalate issues as needed.
