Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, seeks Ramp Service Agents (RSA) to marshal aircraft, load and unload baggage, deice aircraft, and service lavatories at the gate. You will also push back aircraft and ensure safety and efficiency on the ramp.

On-site, you will work in varying weather conditions, demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure, with background checks and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft on the ramp, including directing, assisting, and parking arriving, departing, and towed aircraft.
• Service aircraft as needed, including cabin cleaning and other required services.
• Perform aircraft de-icing/anti-icing.
• Shuttle crew members.
• Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo.
• Operate all ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the safety and security of aircraft.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
