Job summary

Vectrus, Inc in Maryland is seeking an Aircraft Records Technician to maintain and verify government and company records, NAVFLIR data, and aircraft inventories. You will ensure compliance with maintenance publications, update AESR forms, and support logistics and maintenance planning.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Navy AZ class C or USMC/USCG equivalent, 2+ years of aircraft records experience, and clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance and material control procedures.
• Knowledge of aircraft log books, logs and records, and production daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ability to analyze maintenance and material data.
• Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Understand technical language terms in the field.
• Possess a valid US State driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret data.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from documents, following prescribed procedures.
• Calculate items produced, materials used, scrap, defects, and production rates.
• Write production reports based on compiled data.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
• Prepare detailed production sheets from orders for guidance.
• Prepare and update written work schedules and material requisitions.
• Chart production using graphs or boards for reference by management.
• Distribute work tickets or materials to workers.
• May compute wages from time cards and post payroll data.
• Process NAVFLIR input and validation; verify flight operation reports.
• Assist maintenance control with aircraft discrepancy reviews.
• Prepare and verify aircraft records and reports, update engine docs.
• Monitor and update technical directives; maintain AESR forms.
• Ensure accurate aircraft inventories, serial numbers, and configurations.
• Prepare and verify aircraft inventory records; comply with NAV publications.
• Maintain compliance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and related guidance.
