Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Control/Crew Leader to guide a small field team on complex aircraft maintenance tasks. You will diagnose problems, estimate resources, and provide technical guidance while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong aircraft knowledge, and the ability to work in a demanding environment with multiple shifts. A US driver’s license and the ability to obtain a government flight line license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess leadership and administrative skills to guide a team.
• Knowledge of Safe working techniques and procedures.
• Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Requires working technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities, and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to offer technical direction.
• Read and interpret data and manuals clearly.
• Must have a valid US state driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a government flight line driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field team dispatched as needed, or small teams within a larger group.
• Carry up to five hours per week of non-maintenance administrative duties.
• Diagnose problems, estimate materials and manpower to complete work.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to less skilled workers.
• Inspect work when no inspector is assigned to the crew.
• Comply with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and related aircraft maintenance procedures.
