Job summary

VTG is seeking an Aircraft Painter for Patuxent River, MD, to support the Presidential Helicopters program. Responsibilities include surface prep, painting, masking, and applying vinyl graphics on aircraft and equipment.

Minimum 3 years in aircraft painting, knowledge of military publications and EPA/OSHA forms, and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance are required. U.S. citizenship and English literacy are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in aircraft painting and surface prep.
• Knowledge of military publications, diagrams, EPA/OSHA forms.
• Ability to obtain TS clearance; U.S. citizenship; English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, treatment and painting of components and aircraft surfaces.
• Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted.
• Apply vinyl graphics.
• Operate brushes, rollers, spray guns or other devices.
• Maintain knowledge of painting techniques.
