Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an Aircraft Painter for work at Patuxent River, MD, supporting the Presidential Helicopters program. You will prepare, treat, and paint aircraft components and equipment using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and compatible coatings, and apply vinyl graphics as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of recent aircraft painting experience, and knowledge of EPA/OSHA forms and military publications.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years' recent experience painting aircraft and related surfaces.
• Familiarity with aircraft surface prep and painting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, treatment and painting of aircraft components, panels, and equipment with paints and coatings.
• Mask and cover areas not to be painted.
• Apply vinyl graphics as required.
• Maintain knowledge of surface prep and painting techniques.
