Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Wichita, KS is seeking a skilled aerospace manufacturing specialist to perform paint, metal finishing, and related processing to support production requirements.

You will set up and test assemblies, perform priming, and execute hand finishing to meet engineering tolerances. Eligible candidates should have 5+ years in topcoat caliber and be available for 2nd shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Topcoat Caliber experience.
  • Must be able to stand and work for entire 8‑hour shift.
  • Must be ready to work any shift, overtime, weekends as needed; selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily.
  • Must start within 2 weeks after offer acceptance.
  • Must clear background checks and complete Boeing re‑hire checks if former Boeing worker.

Responsibilities

  • Perform process activities including painting, metal etching, metal polishing of aircraft details, heat treating, engraving, shot peening, sand blasting, wire assembling/fabrication, decal/metalcals and metal processing to support production requirements.
  • Qualified to set up and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic assemblies and components.
  • Spray and brush priming.
  • Perform hand finishing operations, such as blending multiple adjacent MDD surfaces into engineering tolerances and/or performing transition work to bring detail parts in accordance with engineering tolerances.
