Kay & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Aircraft Mechanic III (Airframe) at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on organizational and depot-level maintenance on C/KC-130T series aircraft, under NAMP and contract requirements.

The position requires 7+ years in airframe maintenance, 5+ years on KC-130T, and a Secret clearance. Onsite, full-time with multiple shift options and strong leadership duties are involved.

AIRCRAFT MECHANIC III [AIRFRAME] (23023)

Summary

Provides Organizational and Depot-level aircraft maintenance support on C/KC-130T series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.

Senior-level aircraft mechanic supporting contract maintenance on C/KC-130T series aircraft at Squadron VR-62.

Essential Functions

• Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification
• Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems
• Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics
• Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs

Qualifications

• 7+ years airframe aviation maintenance experience
• 5+ years C/KC-130T or similar aircraft maintenance experience
• Must be able to work day, swing or mid shift as required
• Former CDI/CDQAR preferred
• Secret clearance required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation

• $41.33/hour + $2.65 H&W
