Job summary

V2X in the United States is seeking an Avionics/Electronics Technician II to perform maintenance, inspection, testing and repair of avionics components in a bench environment. You will follow FAA-approved manuals, record maintenance data and ensure safe work practices across all tasks.

The role requires circuit testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repair skills, with strong computer knowledge and ability to read schematics and prints.

Qualifications

• Repair electronic circuits and components per manuals.
• Read and follow work instructions, prints and schematics.
• Strong computer knowledge (hardware/software) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance: inspection, test and repair of avionics components.
• Trace signal flow and interpret electrical/electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Record maintenance data, parts tracking and costs per FAA/ company rules.
• Ensure safe, clean and compliant work environment at all times.
• Calibrate and test equipment with oscilloscopes and digital meters.
• Fabricate harnesses/cables and manage documentation (8130-3).
• Assist with new repair capabilities and shop equipment upkeep.
• Provide documentation for service reports and FAA forms.
