Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced aircraft mechanic to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. You will read manuals, troubleshoot hydraulics and structures, and use test equipment to replace damaged parts.

Applicants should hold an A&P certificate, have military maintenance experience, and be able to obtain a secret clearance. This full-time on-site role offers healthcare, retirement, and development resources.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; specialized training desirable.
• Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG CNAFINST 4790.2 maintenance experience.
• Three years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience on the specified aircraft.
• Two years T/M/S Organizational Maintenance experience within last seven years.
• Experience as CDI, CDQAR, Engine Turn Qual, APU Turn Qualification required.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
• Read and interpret manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Inspect airframe components for leaks, cracks, and damage; troubleshoot systems.
• Prioritize workload to maintain schedules and maintenance standards.
• Possess CDI qualification as required by site operations.
