Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, and flight controls, with responsibilities in troubleshooting and documentation.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of aviation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a CAC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aviation experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain CAC.
• Able to read/interpret maintenance procedures and drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools and precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform I-Level maintenance, inspection, repair, modification, and functional testing of aircraft flight equipment and life-support systems.
• Troubleshoot and isolate equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain and service oxygen, gas, survival, and flight equipment systems.
• Interpret and apply technical manuals, drawings, and manufacturer instructions.
• Lead teams through more complex aircraft tasks and mentor junior technicians.
