Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET, Inc.) seeks a seasoned Aircraft Mechanic III at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role oversees maintenance, inspections, and technical guidance for a team, ensuring compliance with FAA, military, and industry standards.

The candidate should possess at least 10 years of aviation structure maintenance experience, plus depot-level procedures and prior work on a USAF wide-body platform (preferably P-8).

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of aviation structure maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in depot-level maintenance procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of FAA, military, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with aircraft structures and airframes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
• 5 years prior experience on an Air Force Wide-body platform (preferably P-8).
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
• Provides technical guidance on maintenance operations on the aircraft being supported.
• Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanics I, II, and III.
• Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, engines, and components.
• Applies knowledge of airframe and power plants systems to determine malfunctions and restore operation.
