Job summary

V2X in the United States seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to perform scheduled and unscheduled O-Level maintenance on military aircraft, including airframe, powerplant, hydraulics, and related systems. This role may involve leading teams and directing Level I personnel to meet maintenance schedules and safety standards.

Candidates must have extensive USN/USMC/USCG CNAFINST 4790.2 experience, appropriate Navy schools, and the ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 experience.
• At least three years T/M aircraft maintenance for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain.
• Two years of T/M/S Organizational Maintenance experience within the last seven years.
• Experience as CDI, CDQAR, Engine Turn Qual, APU Turn Qualification required.
• High school graduate or equivalent; specialized training courses desirable.
• Must have completed Navy Skill Specialty Class 'C' school.
• Thorough knowledge of specific T/M/S aircraft maintenance procedures and tooling.
• Working knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 and NALCOMIS applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specified aircraft systems.
• Maintain/repair engine systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and components.
• Lead teams on more complex maintenance tasks as required.
• Direct Level I personnel to accomplish maintenance actions.
• Possess ability to obtain/maintain secret security clearance.
