Job description

This mechanic maintains and repairs aircraft components, including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. They apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment condition. They interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to solve moderate to complex problems.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply comprehensive technical expertise to resolve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and manufacturer’s manuals. Prioritize workload to meet daily flight schedules and collaborate with higher leadership when necessary.
  2. Possess excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload effectively, ensuring aircraft delivery schedules are met.
Qualifications
  1. Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and parts replacement. Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repairs. Basic knowledge of electrical theory. Familiarity with aircraft-specific tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and sheers.
  2. Ability to work with technical publications and receive guidance from supervisors and senior technicians. Occasionally make entries in aircraft logs and records.
  3. Must be able to prioritize workload to meet daily flight schedules and coordinate with leadership.
  4. Valid State driver’s license required.
  5. Must be a US citizen.
  6. Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
