Job Description

As a SIT II, you will work under the supervision of a registered professional engineer, performing inspection and sampling services alongside site managers and engineers. Your role is critical in quality assurance for construction projects, involving testing of materials such as concrete and soil, monitoring contractor activities, and preparing detailed reports of your observations and test results.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience in construction materials testing or more than 5 years' experience with relevant skills.
• Active certifications: ACI-1 Concrete and ICC Soils (or equivalent). Ability to obtain/recertify additional certifications within three months.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 years).
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including early mornings for concrete placements.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, and proficiency with smartphones and MS Office.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift up to 85 pounds, and work on unpaved ground.
