West Star Aviation Inc. in Grand Junction, CO seeks an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on maintenance, inspection, and repair of sophisticated civilian aircraft, with duties spanning engine work, panel removal, troubleshooting, and use of ground support equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid license often required as noted.
• Airframe license required or preferred; Powerplant license highly valued.
• Experience ranges: AMT I: 0–2 yrs; AMT II: 2–4 yrs; AMT III: license plus more than 4 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Replace or repair parts; troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems; inspect aircraft.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system/component issues.
• Defuel aircraft and assist engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing/runs.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; maintain shop facilities.
