Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our helicopter fleet, with emphasis on AS350 airframe support. The role requires three years of turbine-helicopter experience and an A&P license.

The position includes a 24/7 on-call schedule, FAA compliance, and collaboration across departments to ensure timely patient transport services.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs.
  • Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and security standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
  • Coordinate communication between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and operations teams.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Helicopter Mechanic FULL-TIME Opportunity in Elko, NV
  • Starting Salary: $75,025 - $108,752 annually

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the Company footprint. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
