Qualifications

  • Three years turbine powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
  • EMS/aircraft maintenance systems, records and planning knowledge.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs; place replacement requests as needed; document expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per policy; comply with information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members using appropriate communications.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel as well as AMTs and operations team.

  • Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)

We’re hiring an Area Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our EC130 and AS350 airframes. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EC130, AS350 maintenance experience or equivalent
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
