Job summary

Global Medical Response in Loveland, CO is seeking an Area Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations. The role focuses on supporting the AS350 airframe and ensuring timely, high‑quality transport for patients.

You will perform mechanical inspections, manage inventory, document FAA information, and collaborate with flight crews and the maintenance team to sustain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Overview

We’re hiring an Area Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the Company footprint. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.


Compensation


  • Starting Salary: $75,025 - $108,752 annually (including 15% geo modifier)

  • Area Stipend: $6,000

  • IA Stipend: $2,080

  • Sign-On Bonus: $12,500

Preferred Qualifications


  • AS350 maintenance experience

  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate

  • Related experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145

  • Autopilot maintenance experience

  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
