Flightcheck in Londonderry, NH is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic. You will perform maintenance on wide-body aircraft, read and interpret maintenance manuals, and ensure airworthiness while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers pay from $35 to $47 per hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, in-house certification opportunities, and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with wide body aircraft.
• Readable and understandable English; able to interpret technical data.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities per FARs, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete maintenance work to ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Read, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals and documents.
• Maintain customer-focused service and accurate documentation.
• Operate required servicing equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service-oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc.
• Occasional travel
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience with wide body aircraft
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall

• Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. You will often be exposed to various weather elements as well.
• The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
