Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Challenger Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. You will perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, remove and install panels, and support engine work while using ground support equipment and maintaining aviation standards.

The role requires formal licensing (Airframe and/or Powerplant) with increasing experience levels, Safety FAA guidelines, and a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft system issues.
• Perform engine removals/installations and inspect equipment.
• Operate ground support equipment and maintain tooling.
