Position Description:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Goodyear’s corporate fleet, you will provide top-quality aircraft maintenance, adhering to FAA and manufacturer standards. You will also deliver exceptional customer service to passengers, executives, and guests of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company during travel. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting passengers, assisting with boarding, deplaning, and luggage transfers.

Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily preflight and post-flight inspections, checking for defects, system malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with FAR Part 43 before releasing the aircraft.
  2. Conduct scheduled airframe and engine inspections, repairs, modifications, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with FAA and manufacturer standards.
  3. Travel as a Flight Technician on the G450, performing safety, mechanical, and customer service duties, including Aircraft and Facility technician tasks as needed.
  4. Manage maintenance records and documentation to ensure FAA compliance, including logs and historical data.
  5. Procure and inspect replacement parts, ensuring FAA approval, and support equipment testing and fabrication.
Required Experience and Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • DOT FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Minimum of 5 years of civilian or military aircraft maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, anti-ice, environmental, and cabin pressure systems, and basic sheet metal fabrication
  • Gulfstream G150 and G450 experience preferred
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, avionics, hydraulic, pneumatic, anti-ice, environmental systems, and aircraft painting procedures
  • Understanding of aircraft fueling procedures and safety protocols, fuel system operations, and refilling methods
