Job Description

Position: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

This role involves inspecting mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems and diagnosing malfunctions. The technician also ensures compliance with aviation safety rules and regulations.

Essential Functions
  1. Perform maintenance work on company Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft at our maintenance bases, including dismantling, overhauling, repairing, and assembling all aircraft parts and components.
  2. Perform routine releases to return aircraft to service.
  3. Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company, manufacturer, and FAA requirements.
  4. Maintain work area, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions.
  5. Collaborate with appropriate Inspection personnel (RII).
  6. Ensure hazardous materials storage is frequently inspected, properly labeled, and stored in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  7. Hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  8. Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  9. Have a valid unrestricted driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to operate tugs, trucks, hangar equipment, and taxi aircraft.
  10. Possess a valid US passport (or foreign passport with documented work authorization in the US).
  11. Be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  12. Exhibit good communication skills (verbal, written, and radio).
  13. Maintain a positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance.
  14. Be available to work shifts and overtime if necessary.
  15. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs, and perform bending, stooping, crawling, and kneeling frequently in confined spaces.
