Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! A&P Mechanic - Rotor Wing, FULL-TIME Opportunity in De Queen, AR

  • Starting Salary: $62,705 - $91,455 annually
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Air Evac Lifeteam. This technician will support our airframe and ensure safe, timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks, update tracking logs, and document part expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information accurately, adhering to policies and security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
  • Work collaboratively with health and safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Two (2) years turbine-powered helicopter experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call rotations
  • Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Experience under CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair skills
  • Maintenance experience on aircraft models such as AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135
