Zusammenfassung

Contour is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance On-the-Job Trainer (OJT) to deliver hands-on training to technicians and apprentices. You will mentor trainees while they perform maintenance tasks in hangars and on the ramp, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.

The role requires a valid FAA A&P license, at least five years of hands-on experience, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (FAA A&P) required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience in training or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Deliver structured on-the-job training to maintenance technicians and apprentices.
• Supervise and guide trainees during live aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Ensure training activities comply with regulatory standards (FAA Part 145/135) and company procedures.
• Maintain training records, including task sign-offs and progress reports.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Training Department to align OJT with classroom instruction.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to maintenance best practices.
• Assist in development and continuous improvement of OJT programs and materials.
• Stay current with aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory changes.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
