West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (1049) for a full-time, on-site role in Millville, NJ.
The candidate will perform maintenance on civilian aircraft, troubleshoot systems, and assist with engine work, panels and general mechanical tasks in a dynamic environment. The role requires an Airframe and Powerplant License, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license or passport.
Competenze
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Airframe and Powerplant License required.
- Driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
Mansioni
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
- Defueling aircraft.
- Engine removal/installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
- Notify Lead Mechanic of any problem areas and provide detailed reports.
