Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and mechanical systems on civilian aircraft. The role is full-time, on-site, and offers immediate benefits, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and weekly pay.

Candidates should hold an Airframe or Powerplant license and have 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience. You will perform general mechanical tasks, install/remove panels, and assist with inspections

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe and/or Powerplant license is required (Airframe preferred for some levels).
• 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience may be considered depending on level.
• Ability to follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• Defueling, engine removal/installation, and operating ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English.
