Job summary
West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform varied mechanical tasks on civilian aircraft, troubleshoot systems, and assist in inspections. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
- De-fueling aircraft.
- Engine removal/ installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
- Aircraft movement and performance runs/taxiing.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
- Communicate effectively in English.
