Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Planner I to organize and oversee aircraft maintenance projects. You’ll review work packages, forecast labor needs, and coordinate schedules across departments, partnering with Program and Project Managers to ensure timely, high-quality results.

You’ll help maintain records, support decision-making, and drive efficiency and continuous improvement in a dynamic maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in aircraft maintenance planning; production control; non aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling or equivalent.
• Associate degree or equivalent in training, education, and/or experience.
• Comfortable user in Microsoft Excel; capabilities in Power BI and Macro preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Program/Project Managers to achieve quality and performance within the contracted down time.
• Assist in scheduling work by coordinating requirements of each trade/department.
• Project labor requirements and track progress using in-house software.
• Establish proper work procedures based on customer requirements and ensure staff follow them.
• Administer contracts by interpreting work contents, pricing, budgeting, and statistics.
• Maintain records of events or decisions affecting schedule.
• Compile data on man-hours, cost vs sold, redelivery status for internal and customer use.
• Assist in daily status reports with the Program/Project Manager.
