Job summary

Metrea is seeking a Maintenance Controller to coordinate and plan maintenance for the KC-135 fleet on the assigned shift. You will provide technical support, ensure FAA regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Maintenance, Operations and Logistics to maintain aircraft readiness.

This role requires an A&P certificate with 3+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with contracted agencies while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires an appropriate airman certificate with A&P ratings and minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with KC-135 or similar military aircraft preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with maintenance teams, leadership, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan maintenance activities on assigned shift.
• Coordinate maintenance activities conducted by Contract Agencies, where applicable.
• Ensure contracted maintenance personnel are properly briefed and understand the nature of problems and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with FARs, company manuals, and Technical Data acceptable to the Administrator.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance activities and personnel.
• Monitor Deferred Maintenance Items and ensure time limits are met.
• Monitor, update, and verify aircraft status and report changes to Operations and Maintenance.
• Plan and schedule airframe and line engine maintenance/inspections, ADs, SBs, corrosion programs, and replacements.
• Assemble Aircraft Maintenance/Inspection Packages with applicable notes and approvals.
• Participate in Safety Programs and follow Safety Management System practices.
• Follow Occupational Safety and Health standards; report safety concerns.
