Job summary

Metrea seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and documentation on KC-135R aircraft. The role includes inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Required: 5+ years KC-135 experience and an A&P license. Proficiency with the automated maintenance system and basic MS Office skills are essential. Travel and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working with KC-135 aircraft, including towing and jacking.
• A&P certification required; Engine run qualification and NCATT certificate preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect KC-135 mechanical components to identify problems.
• Maintain and repair KC-135 systems: hydraulics, avionics, jet engine, electrics.
• Perform daily inspections, launch/recover, refuel/defuel, debrief aircrew, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Record maintenance in the automated maintenance records system.
• Operate ground support equipment and drive flight-line vehicles.
