Job summary

Vista in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee daily fleet maintenance, coordinate with SOC/OCC, QC, vendors, and flight crews. The role requires strong troubleshooting, A&P certification, and about 2 years in maintenance control plus 5+ years in corporate or regional airline environments.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate is required.
• Minimum 2 years aircraft maintenance control or related roles.
• 5+ years corporate or regional airline maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and second/third shift.
• Must be able to travel for training or company requirements.
• Must be insurable under company insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely manage daily maintenance requirements of the fleet.
• Coordinate with SOC/OCC, QC, Customer Service, MX Vendors, FBOs and Flight crews on maintenance events.
• Provide high level of technical support to flight crews and MX vendors.
• Apply and manage fleet MELs.
• Build, schedule, and release fleet MX work orders.
• Build, schedule, and release fleet detailing work orders.
• Ensure data accuracy in MX computer programs.
• Communicate timely information to operations for AOG and delays.
• Oversee fleet during MX events.
• Release aircraft for RTS per FAA guidelines.
• Airworthiness releases and special flight permits.
• Monitor and complete MX within governing time limits.
• Collaborate with DOM, Chief Pilots, Managers, Pilots, MX Vendors, OEMs and auditors.
• Provide shift turnovers and detailed reports.
