Vista seeks a Maintenance Controller in Teterboro, NJ to supervise daily aircraft maintenance, coordinate with operations and vendors, and ensure safe, timely updates on MELs and work orders. The role requires strong communication, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills desirable.
• Must have A&P certificate and high school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Minimum 2 years in aircraft maintenance control or related supervisor roles.
• 5+ years of corporate or regional airline maintenance experience; specific aircraft knowledge highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Safely manage daily fleet maintenance requirements and coordinate with SOC/OCC, QC, and vendors.
• Convey high level technical support to flight crews and vendors and manage MELs.
• Build, schedule, and release fleet MX work orders and detailing work orders.
• Maintain accurate data in MX software and inform operations on AOG/delays.
• Oversee fleet during MX events and release aircraft for RTS per FAA and company guidelines.
• Provide shift turnovers and detailed reports; act as onsite liaison with vendors.
• Meet incoming aircraft with flight crews when observations are noted; may technician on JetSelect aircraft.
