Job summary

Vista America seeks a Maintenance Controller in Columbus, OH to safely manage daily fleet maintenance, coordinate with SOC/OCC, QC, and flight crews, and ensure timely releases.

The role requires an A&P certificate, 2+ years in maintenance control or supervisory roles, strong troubleshooting, and ability to work a 4-on/4-off night shift, weekends, and overtime.

Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to travel for training, and comfortable communicating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A&P certificate required; 2+ years in maintenance control or supervisory roles preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for training or company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely manage daily fleet maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with SOC/OCC, QC, customer service, vendors, FBOs, and flight crews.
• Provide high-level technical support to flight crews and vendors.
• Apply and manage fleet MELs.
• Build, schedule, and release fleet MX work orders.
• Build, schedule, and release fleet detailing work orders.
• Ensure accurate data input in MX systems.
