We are actively seeking diesel mechanic candidates for our main facility and repair location in Reese. This full-time position offers benefits, with a preference for candidates willing to work second and third shifts. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

Role Overview:

The Diesel Mechanic will service company-owned heavy trucks and trailers, troubleshooting and repairing electronic, fuel, ignition, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. While primarily working independently, team collaboration is expected for major projects.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, including testing and adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Identify mechanical problems visually or with diagnostic tools.
• Conduct diagnostics on components and systems to ensure proper operation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of verifiable diesel mechanic experience
• Flexible schedule ability
• Knowledge of diagnosing diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
• Strong communication and team skills

Physical Requirements:

• Lift at least 35 pounds
• Bend, stretch, kneel, squat for repairs
• Good vision for inspections
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery
• Pass drug and alcohol screening
