Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated on NAS Whidbey Island seeks an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to manage vital logs, AESRs, and MSRs in accordance with NAMP. You will log updates, track life-limited parts, and ensure audit readiness.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, using NALCOMIS/OOMA, and coordinating with maintenance control and QA. A Secret clearance and CAC eligibility are required, with 2–4 years of aviation records experience.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and CAC eligibility.
• High School Diploma or GED; aviation admin training preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience managing aviation logs, records, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience using automated aviation logistics systems (OOMA/NALCOMIS).
• Knowledge of Navy aviation nomenclature, publications, and NAMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and audit aircraft logbooks, AESRs, and MSRs.
• Use NALCOMIS/OOMA to log changes, replacements, and flight data.
• Track time-compliance, high-time components, and life-limited parts.
• Process Technical Directives, Airframe Change notices, and MWOs for fleet compliance.
• Assist Site Supervisor and QA with safety inspections and audits.
• Verify maintenance actions for completeness before log entry.
