Job summary

ACET, Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician at NAS Whidbey Island. You will manage and audit aircraft logs, AESRs, and MSRs, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness under NAMP. The role uses NALCOMIS/OOMA for data logging and supports maintenance planning.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in aviation records, Navy nomenclature knowledge, and a security clearance. Strong attention to detail and coordination with maintenance control are essential.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. security clearance required for access to sensitive data.
• 2–4 years in aviation logs, records, and technical documentation.
• Experience with automated aviation logistics systems (OOMA/NALCOMIS).
• Knowledge of Navy aviation nomenclature, publications, and logbook filing.
• Familiarity with NAMP data-tracking requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and audit physical and electronic aircraft logs, AESRs, and MSRs.
• Log configuration changes and flight data using NALCOMIS/OOMA databases.
• Track time‑compliance, high‑time components, and life‑limited parts.
• Process and track Technical Directives, Airframe Change notices, MWOs.
• Assist in safety inspections, logbook verifications, and audits.
• Verify maintenance actions for completeness before log entry.
