Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET) seeks a detail-oriented Aircraft Logs & Records Technician to manage administrative and data-tracking functions for the F/A-18 variants assigned to NAS JRB Fort Worth. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and upkeep of aircraft logbooks, publications, and configuration records under NAMP.

Based in Fort Worth, the role requires experience with NAMP, NALCOMIS/OOMA, and maintaining CTPL; DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing military aviation logs and records.
• Experience with U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps O-level squadron environment preferred.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Knowledge of NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2) and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft logbooks, historical records, and component tracking logs for all assigned F/A-18 platforms.
• Input and track maintenance data, inspection intervals, and component flight hours in NALCOMIS/OOMA.
• Monitor high-time components and TDs; generate maintenance forecast reports for Maintenance Control.
• Process aircraft transfer and acceptance inspections; ensure logs and history are complete on receipt or delivery.
• Maintain CTPL with up-to-date manuals and MIMs; ensure proper sign-offs and documentation codes.
• Support internal quality assurance audits with data and logs for inspectors.
• Generate daily/weekly maintenance production reports and asset status summaries.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, QA, and Material Control for parts changes and life-limited tracking.
• Maintain secure, organized office and digital storage for sensitive aircraft records.
