Job summary

M1 Support Services, LP seeks an Aircraft Mechanic I - LO Corrosion Inspection to perform daily corrosion dock operations under the Coatings Section. You will inspect, repair, and apply corrosion protective coatings to aircraft structures and bonded parts.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of USAF Low Observable experience (F-35) or equivalent, plus the ability to read manuals and use MIS. Deployment readiness may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4 years of USAF Low Observable experience or equivalent on F-35 aircraft preferred.
• Must read, write, and understand English and interpret technical data.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, modifies, and applies corrosion protective coatings to aircraft structures.
• Assembles components using special fasteners and adhesives to preserve integrity and low-observable features.
• Reads maintenance manuals and technical data to determine repair methods.
• Removes/install panels and performs in-process inspections (IPI).
• Performs system checks and functional tests of repaired aircraft components.
