Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a Line Service Technician to join our Van Nuys, CA team. This full-time, on-site role supports aircraft operations and provides essential ground services for inbound and outbound flights.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime. You will work with pilots, flight crews, and maintenance teams in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing and background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Marshall, wing-walk, tow, fuel, and de-fuel aircraft per procedures.
• Provide lavatory and potable water service, baggage handling, cleaning, and pre/post-flight support.
• Conduct daily ramp checks, inspections, audits, and checklists to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Complete required training for towing, ramp operations, and safety programs.
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment.
• Direct ramp activity to ensure safety and efficiency of operations.
• Support facility operations and other departments as needed.
• Provide security for people and property while ensuring safety.
