Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance is hiring an Avionics Technician in Van Nuys, CA, to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace avionics systems in a Part 145 environment. You will document work, follow manuals, and support training for teammates while coordinating with flight crews for in-flight troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of avionics experience in a Part 145 environment.
• Strong background in business aviation (Part 135 preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repair, removal and replacement of avionics components and systems.
• Document work performed and ensure data accuracy per approved procedures.
• Provide OJT to junior technicians and support training logs.
• Assist flight crews with in-flight troubleshooting and ground evaluations of avionics systems.
