Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5 years Aircraft Interior experience or equivalent.
• FAA A&P license or repairman certificate within 30 days; repairman certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop work schedules, estimates and status reports for interior modifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and contract admins to ensure fabrication and completion.
• Ensure workmanship quality and drive continuous improvement and reduced cycle time.
• Report status and maintain department records and reports.
• Instruct and coach subordinates on procedures and blueprints; train employees.
• Follow up on corrective actions in shop operations and ensure schedules are met.
• Implement and monitor a safety program; enforce FOD regulations and housekeeping.
