Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA seeks an Interior Installation Technician Senior to remove, install and fabricate aircraft interiors, including galleys, closets, and panels, under limited supervision. You will mentor and train other technicians and ensure work meets design specs and quality standards.

Education: High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience; aerospace experience preferred. This is a second shift, full-time role with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.
• Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and fabrication of interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels).
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure FAA paperwork and quality specifications are met.
• Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians and review work before sign-off.
• Lead responsibilities as required and procure materials and documentation for tasks.
• Use material tracking system to create parts demand and sign-off work.
• Follow SOPs and maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Prepare and install interior items per procedures and quality standards.
• Adapt to schedule changes and coordinate with other shops/departments.
• Assist technicians with maintenance requirements.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies are followed.
