Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Technician to perform mechanical work on aircraft interiors at our Chattanooga, TN location. You will remove/install carpeting, insulation, and fabric accessories, and assist with related electrical installations and refurbishments.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to read blueprints, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced hangar environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with aircraft interiors and assembly is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow maintenance instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Carry out minor modifications with minimal direction.
• Maintain daily turnover sheets and work orders.
• Assist in weight and balance data management.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and tooling.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members.
